Doesn’t this look yummy? Well, I made this today!

I know I don’t cook or bake or do anything remotely similar (when my sisters cook, I volunteer to wash dishes instead of touching any food, and when I said I was making this my whole family turned out in the kitchen to watch this miracle of me volunteering to COOK) but I thought - how hard can this be? 3 ingredients (sugar, egg and cocoa powder) and just mix and microwave it for 60 seconds! 

But I must make several disclaimers:

i. Mine didn’t actually turn out like that. This was a picture from the website where I found the recipe from. Mine looked more like a normal cake in a gooey messy bowl: (there are 2 holes in the cake cos my mom took a bite out of it before we took the photo…)

There! Not so bad isn’t it! My sisters also took this photo as proof that I actually cooked… -.-

ii. I realised baking is not so easy! Must measure and stir and even when I follow the instructions precisely, it still doesn’t exactly turn out the way it sounds like… mine was kinda dry… haha. Initially I zapped it for 60 seconds and it was still powdery. Then when I zapped it for another 30 seconds, it became kinda dry. The power of 30 seconds!

iii. Okay, it was pretty fun. And awesome to see something that I MADE even though it was so easy. And COOL I tried something new today!

Onwards! Maybe one day I can be a good housewife! … haha yeah, right :p
